Taku-Tori > All the way from Nuka Hiva to well past the Tuamotu Atolls we had storms day and night.
Taku-Tori > As the storms approached the wind died completely leaving us becalmed until the last minute, then we'd have up to 22 knots.
Taku-Tori > Running down the channel inside the reef at Tahiti.
Taku-Tori > The waters around Tahiti are the cleanest we have seen anywhere.
Taku-Tori > Fronts came through one after another.
Taku-Tori > Torrential rain made showering on deck possible. It was hot and humid and we enjoyed the cool rain storms.
Taku-Tori > 500 miles from anywhere, with no escape we just waited to see what each storm would bring with it.
Taku-Tori > The last thing we wanted to see in the middle of the night was this massive front bearing down on us.
Taku-Tori > LANDFALL !!!  
Tahiti appears before us as dawn breaks. What an awesome feeling it is to make a perfect landfall.
